I don't get why they don't train Ai off of 3d files rather than 2d images.. seems it would be a lot easier to train ai such as a 3d model of a human with all the information that would be available for a game to render a 3d model in any position or lighting that can be accessed to create a image on a screen for a game.. and then just apply filters to the 3d models to give it style.
