I'm a disabled artist and the idea that disability is being used as a scapegoat and justification for AI trash not only pisses me off, but it made me quit drawing/painting for a while! In favor for crochet, because its one of many traditional art forms only humans can do. It's very unfortunate that its brutal on my hands, or I'd still be only crocheting.
(Also, can't really tell the stories I want to in crochet, like I can in drawings/paintings. maybe one day when I get really good at tapestry work)
I'm also of the mindset that anyone can make art if they are willing to take the time to fail. Failing and trying again is a HUGE part of the art process, but people now-a-days are so afraid to be bad at something because "its cringe" or whatever. I'm not even joking when I say, I'd rather you traced. Thats at least a skill used in art jobs all the time, Like tattoo artists!
Nothing is more cringe then getting a fancy algorithm to plagiarize Pokemon, Ghibli or Disney because you cant be bothered to pick up a pencil lol
