AI is controlled and will remain in the hands of a handful of rich men. They will never want to give away that power. We either accept it and flush our human existence down the sewer, or we revolt, en masse. I think it will be catastrophic, because, like climate change, the powerful are too greedy to want to do anything about it, and so we are toast. Our social and economic system as we know it today, will vaporize in a cloud of anarchy because humans will have nothing left to lose.
