There are many things that humans can do that AI will never be able to do. It can’t offer compassion or provide the same kind of bond that a living entity can do, like resonate love, sympathy or empathy.
I completely agree that, as computers replace human jobs, we will be at a loss of what to do for a while but monasteries have shown us how to leave the distractions of life and focus on our inner work for centuries.
When we can do what we want to do, instead of what we have to do - we’ll still make art, music. We’ll still record our thoughts to share and connect with others. We’ll still go hiking and fishing and picnicking.
While I respect the fear of AI destroying the world as we know it - I still have tremendous faith that humanity will adapt and evolve and find a greater way through the next phase of our existence.
