When I jokingly act bigoted towards robots, it's to dehumanize them in an attempt to juxtapose my dehumanization with people humanizing AI models. Eg. Calling someone's AI partner a nasty clanker. Its telling that people started jokingly dehumanizing AI at the same time as AI romantic partners started making headlines.
