Preach, so many people who think there'll be a UBI waiting for them at the end of the AI race, when in reality there'll highly likely be nothing at all.
I live in a country that has a safety net for this, for people who just cannot work. Whether physical, mental, or there literally just not existing any jobs. But it's effectively just poverty cash to keep you off the streets, and every election cycle the fiscally conservative want to end it for billionaire tax relief.
