The adoption rate is bs. You can`t consider "hundreds of millions" using Ai, when any google search has it, by default. I`m in software development and yes, consultancies use it a lot to manage multiple projects at the same time, but most end-clients do not. And also, do not care for it or want ti implement AI for code.
The introduction of AI has always been revenue increase. This is where all the billions investment come from. We don`t hear about medical breakthroughs but we hear about layoffs. We don`t hear about new commodities, but we hear a lot about market manipulation.
