The biggest thing for me is allowing the ai covers to make it on the radio and the music charts, as most of them are incredible. A country version of Smells like teen spirit, for example, it’s on YouTube and it’s excellent. Or the rock version of Friends in low places. Simply give the profits to the person who made the cover with their ai, and to the original artist.
It needs to be allowed, because of how great and numerous these covers are. For example, if you’re a Slipknot fan, you only have so many of their songs. With ai, it becomes limitless. I just listened to Livin la vida loca, in Slipknot style, it was excellent. Then Ed Sheeran songs, in Slipknot form, was great. Then people who hate Slupknot, can enjoy every one of their songs, in whatever genre they prefer. I prefer country and rock over pop and rap, but now I can listen to every rap and pop song turned into country and rock. And every rock song I like as a country song, and vice versa. Many of these covers would top the music charts.
