It astounds me that you still manage to be civil about this considering the shit they've done, Sam. The arguments AI prompters give are honestly laughable. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt at first, but it's clear that most of them don't care whatsoever about people behind the art. They see art as product, no matter what the context is, whether it's a commercial work or something personal. Most AI prompters are consumers, and I think that's what irritate artists the most, because they (probably not coincidentally) are the worst kind of consumer too. Only now they have a heightened sense of entitlement. I'm not someone who's going to be very affected by this. Drawing is just a way of expressing myself and connecting myself to a community, but hell, I'd be pissed if a vent art/birthday gift I make for someone gets fed into an AI database so reddit user romesucker976 can make a rule 34 of his waifu with added 8,5 fingers
