The irony is brutal: the system that made a small group insanely rich is now pressuring them to bet everything on AI. And open/local movements (OpenClaw-style) plus open-source LLMs are the trapdoor. If agents/models run at home, the “winner takes all” story breaks. They’ll have accelerated the entire field with their capital… and then watch the value leak out to the edge. They didn’t just fund AI — they funded their own commoditization.
