So AI will need to earn a paycheck to buy the stuff all the displaced workers can't. Gee, what will that do to earnings? What is a functioning economy under those circumstances? What's to stop people from creating their own economies and dumping technology at that point? People will have nothing to lose as they have already lost everything.
