When I found out about AI art I was very conflicted, cause it seemed really cool, but then my own art that I've poured hours into felt like it was nothing, why bother when I can click a button to get art, or take a photo of my own and make it 10x better. So I started using it as my base for my art that I'm doing for a friends story, but it made me feel irrelevant and a cheat, more so then using photos of landscapes to help me do backgrounds, so i stopped especially when I started noticing that I was seeing signatures in the AI art, that's when I realised it was stealing others art, so I stopped.
AI art is fun to muck about with but it definitely feels like it makes the art world a little bit more duller and hopeless, cause now how can you look at someone's art and be sure it's actually their real art?
