I work as an ML Engineer. I don’t believe AI will go beyond the smartest humans. I believe it will fill in the gaps between human intelligence and when that happens we will call that super human. It will be able to do everything any human can do. But I believe humans (with AI) will still be needed to branch out and create new knowledge, solve new physics and expand knowledge with new breakthroughs.
