Sorry but deepblue didn't have reasoning. Several papers were published and it was chess algo powered by a very capable computer. With its amount of memory, it allowed an deep search of millions of possibilities. It was said the best chess players anticipated 16 moves ahead, but deepblue (second) version in the late 1990s (certainty not the 1960s version) could search 20 moves ahead. Thus game over.
Deepblue2 helped IBM to sell supercomputers, not AI. Get your fact straight to be credible
