Art is, in anthropology terms, the material expression of culture. Culture is fundamentally human, our ways of knowing, perceiving, being, doing, sharing, experiencing! It's the inarguable essence of human nature, the fact that we want to be understood and understand others (and thing) in turn.
AI just takes the human nature out of human expression and experience when it's used for things like that. The human person is just discarded from doing innately human things in that equation. It's profoundly upsetting.
You don't have to be "good" at art to make real art, simply because you're a human. The 1 absolutely necessary talent to make art, in all cases, is to just be a human.
