The trouble with AI is it doesn't "create" anything; it just knows how to copy-paste. I read a lot of HSO/HFY stories on Reddit / Youtube, and the vast majority are AI generated and you can tell after a while, because the stories will all be the same or have the same/similar parts, mostly coffee, and how it is a wonder drug; try finding a story without the super-human uses of coffee. My favourite AI generated picture was of a space ship which was simultaneously flying, blowing up and landed while boarding an entire army of people and weapons onto the ship, which is both the size of a fighter but also larger than a planet depending on where you looked. It was a mess. I agree, that the internet is just becoming the online version of "gray-goo" and it needs to stop.
