Thank you!!! People who don't do art don't seem to understand that the ultimate goal isn't to have a perfect finished image. Sure, the final result is an important part of it, but it's not the whole point. Artists don't spend years honing their skills just so they can shit out perfect pictures for capitalists. They do it because they like making art. There is satisfaction in the trial and error of discovering how you can recreate something you see or imagine. Even if AI art kills art as a viable career (which I don't think it will, but let's pretend), people will still want to make art.
