In 1966 Robert Heinlein published the book 'The moon is a harsh mistress' where a group of revolutionaries used an AI to overthrow a dictatorial government - on the moon. It created an AI leader of the revolution that the authorities could not find. it included video of the AI. The AI also organised the cells of the revolution so that if someone was caught, they could only identify 3 people. 6o years later it holds up quite well.
