I do think the guys point is exactly that. People try to create arts that transcends and transform so that they may be compensated and live off the proceeds of that art. These companies want to hire an actor or writer for a coulple of months and then use their creative input and the power of AI to generate money indefinitely without compensating the source of the material. It does not strike me as fair.
