A thing I thought up of when I heard the AI art is unethical argument is what if it doesn't take from public resource art but artists can send it their unpublished art and sketches and the artists make a bit of money from it. Not a lot of money because it's still unpublished sketches and the art itself won't be used but just enough to validate AI art's existence.
