When I was in school studying art and media we were required to use AI generators for certain classes to "learn about the technology". It was literally required for the work we did and we'd fail those assigments if we refused which could majorly affect our grades. I didn't realise just how damaging it was at the time but still felt really weird about using it. Eventually I learned that the data the AIs are trained on is taken people without their permission and now I despise AI. I think this is such a cool way to fight back against it and I think it's great people are talking about it. Thanks!
