And that's OK! But only if the Society owns the AI, and what money is made is shared among those who are left without an income. A few warlords cannot be allowed to rake in all the profits.
Who could object to a world where robots do all the work, and from the fruits of that all humans are given what they need to thrive? This, my friends, is real, pure Socialism.
The only reason people object to such a system now, is that someone with ill intent has whispered in their ear that they have to work and pay for others. They haven't stopped to think that they also receive the safety net and only see those that sadly had to use it. We could have a society where everyone receives what they need, but those who do extra, like building and maintaining robotics and automatics, are rewarded.
