I will say using AI when I was getting my masters in biology was very helpful. Not because I used it to do my work but because I was able to quickly get information from the AI by asking things that I didn't understand or rephrasing a tricky paragraph. Of course it's always important that I double check the information given but it was a huge time saver that I didn't have to look through a bunch of sources just to find one answer.
