While we should always be thinking of dangers and safety I find the constant doom mongering of AI too much. I don’t believe it will steal everyone’s jobs and I don’t believe General Intelligence is as close as we think. If they are used as tools they will remain as tools. It unleashes people’s creativity and learning. If we all end up out of work which we won’t then amazing we would restructure society and all live the way we want to. People don’t know how to just sit around.
