The comparison of AI adoption to internet adoption rates at 9:13 as a proxy for indicating change, impact or value seems very misleading. To ‘adopt’ the internet you needed to buy new equipment and local last-mile services (ISPs) needed to be physically stood up and subscribed to before you could do anything at all. AI is coming via this pipe and to start using the web services requires no purchase or change whatsoever. If you had to buy physical equipment to access AI then I suspect adoption rates would be very different.
