Job security is the clear and present danger that trumps everything else.We've heard plenty about equipping the workforce with AI tools to boost competence and survive the AI onslaught. But now it's time to tackle what no one's discussing: Job Insurance (or at minimum, a robust framework for job security).We insure our lives, vehicles, and health—why not our jobs? Job insurance isn't about being qualified or competent enough to snag opportunities (there are plenty of skilled people already). The real crisis is a shortage of jobs, even for those proficient in AI across all economic sectors—not just tech or IT. Competent workers abound, but AI has shrunk the opportunities.
