Sam Altman ruined AI. AI could have been developed the right way just like the internet. Capitalists wanted two tier system of speed for profitability but activists demanded net neutrality so now all of internet is available to even the poor.
Same for AI. People have to push government.
Also politicians and industry leaders have to act reaponsibly like those who developed nuclear powers and bombs. They wont and now cant. This is the key problem.
Tbe only chance out of this is to quickly educate the public and the public has to want to live and not die a terrible death.
