I think AI art is fine for some things. Specifically, personal use. I’m in a dnd group and none of the four of us do much art. All our online player tokens are AI generated. We like to make goofy images of our characters. None of that really ever leaves the gc. That’s my primary issue with “AI art bad”. Yes, it’s not interesting as art, but it can be genuinely useful for people who want something for personal use but don’t have time or ability to make it themselves.
