I believe AI would only grow due to competition trying to build the most advance system to meet their demands, it's a Arms Race for AI domination, taking the advantage to becoming the first nation with a new toy.
Me as a gamer, I can imagine the world of AI (and not skynet or matrix), it would look similar to our current games but in reality it would be the next step for mankind!
