Here's the thing to bear in mind: The danger of AI and robotics does not come from AI's becoming autonomous and opposing or oppressing humans. Remember- somebody owns that technology. The danger comes from the human owners of AI and robotics using them to oppress other humans. All this talk about AI's threatening to take over the world is designed to distract you from recognizing it's the human owners of the AI that want to use it to take over. It's a red herring.
