When I was a kid, my art teacher pulled me aside after class and told me I'd never be good at art. This was after I had put a lot of effort (for a first grader) into my art. I understand now that I could probably pick up the skills if I really tried, but that really broke my spirit. I've never put my heart into art again since then, but I have always wondered what I could have been if I was encouraged. I won't say I'm too old now, but I'm at a point where becoming an artist is not as much of a reality. And even I won't use A.I.
