Ultimately, AI needs power (electricity) to operate…
If it ‘wipes out’ the human race, power plants will likely cease to function, yes?
ATM at least anyway…perhaps AI will need to figure out how to maintain a power station and also to restart one, should it fail…
Ultimately, I believe if it (AI) realises that a the demise of humans will be at its own cost, perhaps it will strive to keep us alive…
