Well, this video didn't make me nearly as angry as I thought it would, so.... congrats on that. But you still don't get it. EVEN IF you cater to the rich, there's simply nowhere near enough business of that sort to keep an economy going. Anyone saying otherwise is a delusional plutocrat or wants to be. So you have still failed to answer your extremely salient question despite coming almost excruciatingly close. Remember this fundamental truth : there are billions of us and only thousands of them. The number of rich people does keep going up but they are still a tiny tiny minority of the population. Most of the money is made by middle class people selling to middle class people. You might make a lot more per sale selling yachts to billionaires but you will make one hell of a lot more money selling burgers to people with actual jobs. Automation has eliminated jobs since the dawn of the Industrial Revolution. And yet, most people are still employed to this very day. That's because new technology creates jobs as well. Sure, nobody is a cartwright any more, but there were no database admins in the Wild WIld West, either. Also - and you guys came so close to saying this - it is way more profitable to make your existing workers more productive than it is to simply cut jobs. SO relax folks. People have been freaking out over how automation will take EVERYBODY'S JOB any MINUTE NOW since the days of the Luddites and it STILL HAS NOT HAPPENED.
