I agree that ai art looks awful but I can’t fully speak to the practice due to the fact I’m not a visual artist, but as a musician every single I hear an ai generated song I genuinely recoil and feel sick to my stomach, ( also iirc the way an ai makes a song is completely different in the the way the construct chords and melodies as compared to a real human, leading to a very uncanny quality)
