I think people put too much weight in this guys opinion. He says he just recently came to realizations that are in my mind obvious. And his opinion that AI could take over is nonsense. AI don't have needs and wants but act as enablers for the people that use them. The better way to phrase the issue is that these tools act as force multipliers, which allow a small group of people or even an individual to exercise outsized power.
