So here's my view/dilemma with this whole issue. I don't have time to get a band together, practice, do a few gigs, then get money to professionally record and produce an album just to probably not be successful in the worldwide music industry. I have the talent to play drums, guitar and write songs (not at the same time), but my voice is ugly even though I love to sing with music. Saying that AI is learning from copy written songs is obvious, people learn the same way, in fact more and more artists are using autotune, track loops, samples from older songs or completely using a computer to make EDM, and ghost writers are helping a huge portion of artists. I have made a few songs with AI that are amazing (feedback has been astonishing from coworkers and in the AI music community). I want to go the proper route to publish and copy write songs going forward to be able to possibly make some side $ which will cost me a subscription to the AI service and payment to the copy write service and then a % to a publishing service that can distribute the music on all social media. I have used Shazam on all my song to see if it picks up any similarities to other songs and it doesn't, so why can't I use AI to assist in my songs and claim them as mine?
