Interesting. If in fact, it does cost millions to handle the extra resources for AI to analyze and respond to our politeness, my number one reason for saying thank you and please is simple. If we get used to chatting with AI in a cold and emotionless way, how long will it be before we start talking human beings the same way? Peace and love everybody...even it you're a chatbot!
