I am a software engineer. I don't specialize in AI, however I have tried these AI tools to help write code. Yes, it's changed very specific workflows but it's absolutely trash at doing ANYTHING complex. There's a lot of boilerplate, or repetitive coding tasks, that can be automated but nothing NEW is made with AI.
