I always tried to have a conscience when it came to college. When I did use AI I didn’t just plug the questions in, I used it to generate similar practice problems so I could hone a particular skill or explain a unit to me that I didn’t really digest well. When I write my own essays and papers, I ask it to tell me what I did wrong or where I could improve. It’s also pretty good at fact-checking if you ask it very specific questions about the material, but not broad-based ones. I think AI can be a great learning tool if you don’t compromise with it.
