I used to think that automating all jobs and getting universal credit would be a utopia. That's naive. Governments are corrupt, if I'm entirely dependent on them for my livelihood with no other options it's slavery and they'd know it and they'd abuse it. But wait it gets worse. How can I assume there'd still be governments when at this point the rich will hold all the cards? People in governments would be equally reliant on the rich like the rest of us. We'd just become commodities; entertainment and spare parts for the wealthy.
