It seems like this is what the housing market has been doing for a long time too. All the new houses that get built are huge expensive house, made with the cheapest materials.
The other problem is that if one AI is building all the items in a specific industry, say cars for example, it’s just going to be a race to see who builds the most generic car that after a certain point will never change again because all the car inputs for the model will just be the same car.
