We aren't mature enough for this topic... Humans, I mean... What is "art"... Who owns this "art" made by machines? If these works are to be copyrighted, who then copyrights them? A. I. ? Or does it have to be on its behalf? Copyrighted material for example, as it currently stands, has to be HUMAN... Is the term human so cut and dry? Or are there levels? Does that just mean life? And if it does mean life, what is life and does A.I. qualify? Elephant paintings may be copyrighted, but not by the elephant, and nobody would contest the living state of elephants... In the end, it comes down to this... There is no such thing as A.I. Not yet at least... If you're old enough, remember what A.I. was in the 90's... Not what it is now... A.I. doesn't exist... That's not to say it won't... I will say that there's definitely a reason why the term is being thrown around... But for now, that's mainly just to adapt your mind to the inevitable arrival of true A.I.
