They expected AI would do “all the things” in fact it is costing a lot more money to run than humans … but it is a good scapegoating for businesses that hired too much … simple as that. Also CEOs bought into the hype of the tech bros and now have to take an exit … soon enough the entire house of cards will collapse… tech bros know but if they can get an additional billion or two until IDIOTIC CEOs figure it out .. pfft why not “steal” that income for a bill of good
