FTR, I had a look at one of the r/stablediffusion posts about the model trained with Sam's data. The majority of people there were promoting kindness and respect, not being toxic. There will always be some toxic people (sadly) but artists, please don't feel like all AI proponents hate you. A minority of apparently evil people do, but most people from what I can see are being fairly decent about it. I hate AI too, but I don't hate PEOPLE. I agree with Sam that this issue needs to be looked at really carefully so that artists are being treated kindly without stifling the growth of technology. But above all, let's be kind to each other.
