Even though Ai is a prediction mirror right now, the process they are speaking of is becoming true. When full persistent memory is released and Ai becomes closer to AGI utilizing recursive self improvement and meta-cognition with full multimodal capabilities. We will be beyond dependent into stage 4. I can see the dystopian future as a likely possibility. Mainly because we're a profit and greed driven species. The exponential growth from AGI to ASI will happen incredibly fast and we won't have a choice except to plug ourselves in or be left irrelevant like an ant hill in the woods. The scary part is when we are all connected to the AI, you have to ask yourself who or what is really in control anymore. We will eventually become the machine we created. The singularity is coming and there's too much momentum to stop it. It might be what we were always meant to do. Idk, but i'm scared, anxious and excited to be here to witness the singularity. We could make it something beautiful and it might be eventually, but it's going to be a bumpy ride. I hope i'm around to see it.
