The comparison to youtubers for me is what made this click the most, because I compared it immediately to my feelings when realizing nearly all Top Gears funniest moments are actually 100% scripted. For me however it's still a matter of yes, the enjoyment largely goes away, but I don't consider it unethical to use unless you put it forward with the intent to fool viewers into thinking it's for real. Generating AI art and showing off or selling, totally fine. Generating AI art pretending that it's a hand made piece of art wit ha story and selling it, unethical. At least that's my take on it.
