I loved drawing long ago, I did it alot too but then I stopped as interests changed and other hobbies came along. In my eyes I never was decent but one of the last drawings I did might've been, now I don't have the motivation for many things, even art even if I'd want to draw or play an instrument.
Even with this I wouldn't stoop as low to generate AI images to satisfy my wants and call it art or claim myself an artist because I know it isn't true and it would only be pathetic from me.
