Idk, I think the guy is right on the border between delusional and having a point.
If Charlie had just taken a picture of his dad in a chair, that would be about the same as what he was critizing ai for.
And I get that photography can be an involved artform, but it can also be as simple as seeing something beautiful that already exists and deciding to press a button over it
I don't think it's right to say that required skill is what defines art, but I also don't know where exaxtly I would draw the line
