My art has already been storage since sometime last year because I learned DA is where a lot of art was being stolen from for NFTs....and then DA dropped this AI bomb on us on Veterans Day no less. Yes it's great they flipped things around so that opt out is what's automatic instead of opt in but they should not have done this to begin with. Like you said in your video, implementing this AI generator totally goes against their own TOS. Also opting out is basically telling people 'Hey now don't use this for AI' then trusting they won't just because some text told them not to and that's not exactly confidence boosting either. I've been on DA for over 20 years now and I am very close to saving and deleting all my work from there which is over 2500 images as much as I don't want to after being on DA for so long but I feel like my art is no longer safe. I recently sent in the form to opt my username out of being used for this AI nonsense. If it's accepted, I'm still undecided about taking my art out of storage or not. Probably not. If it's denied, then yeah I'm pulling out of DA much as I hate to. Really appreciate you posting this video. Just found out about your channel today actually and gonna subscribe soon as I submit this.
