As someone who is chronically ill ((physically and mentally)), I've been very concerned considering I've always struggled with selling enough art. I've always had to work full time outside of my art, and sadly I grew up in.... technically a city but it's one of those smaller cities with the small town mindset, so the people I knew definitely turned to the AI slop instead of supporting artists as soon as they could. 🙄
I don't post my art on Meta platforms anymore (unless it's Zuckerberg getting M-Preg... they can feed that to the trainers), because of their stance on forcing users data into AI trainers.
I haven't completed much art in months to be honest, though. This video has definitely inspired me, because I've been in a huge depression.. between all this AI hullabaloo and grieving loss, it leaves you winded for sure.
Thank you for tackling every argument we're so tired of hearing! I love your points and am definitely going to share this!
